Reigning Champ Robson
A new Reigning Champ flagship is open at 1148 Robson Street in downtown Vancouver.
Our fifth flagship, and the second in our hometown, was designed by award-winning Canadian architect Peter Cardew. The store’s unique structural and spatial configurations inspired Cardew to design a custom modular shelving system fixed to floor-to-ceiling beams.
The innovative system pivots for easy movement, and each fixture is constructed from interchangeable components such as tables, boxes and hanging rods, allowing for further configuration.
Cardew explains that, “In a time when sacrificing material resources simply for a change in appearance may be considered as irresponsibly wasteful, these innovative design solutions create equally effective change.”
